The roots of Rajmahal Group trace back to 1937, when visionary founder Mr. B. Manjunath Prabhu opened Santhosh Bhavan and later in the year 1952 opened Anand Bhavan, a humble yet iconic pure-veg restaurant in the temple town of Udupi. Building on this vision, the family introduced Hotel Prashanth in 1969 at the heart of Bangalore – a property far ahead of its time, offering elegance, comfort, and unmatched guest service.

By 1974, PHPL expanded with the launch of The Grand Rajmahal on Seshadri Road, which swiftly became a landmark for travelers, owing to its strategic location near the railway station and bus terminal.
